EARS Advocacy Service currently has one vacancy
Post of Independent Advocate (30 hour post). Salary £23,080.00 (pro-rata)
This post, initially funded up to 30 March 2013, will be responsible, primarily, for the provision of an independent advocacy service to adults 65+ in the East Lothian area. It is essential for applicants to have a health/care/social work qualification (or equivalent) or a wide experience of working with older people. Knowledge of the Mental Health (Care & Treatment) (Scotland) and Adult Support & Protection legislation would be advantageous.
